To effectively address the energy and related environmental issues facing our state, our nation, and our world, partnerships are essential. The Institute for Energy and the Environment at OSU serves to coordinate and expand the partnerships of the many energy and related OSU research centers. The IEE also facilitates a myriad of external relationships (formal and informal, collaborative and consultative, sponsor and client) with government agencies, industry and non-profit organizations, as well as other academic institutions both in the United States and beyond.
